Summer Learning journey Last blog of the week, also my very last :(

Well, it's sadly the last blog for the Summer Learning journey :c

I would just like to give a big thanks to The Ako Hiko cluster for the Summer learning journey activities during the holiday. They taught me allot of things and kept me up with work.
Summer Learning journey was a great experience  to get to learn while during the holidays. For the past phew weeks it was fun, amazing and surprising with facts.

In all the weeks I would say my favourite blog would be the blog about my Brochure of Tonga.
My least favourite would be the one where I had to draw my favourite book cover. It took me ages cause I had to draw but I had no colour so I had to put it on google drawing then add colour with poly line. It was so annoying!

But now it has come to an end :c      3 things that I learnt was one:  JULIAN DENNISON HAD A TWIN OH MY GOSH. 2: MANDELA WENT TO JAIL FOR 18 YEARS! Last one, number 3: the thing I learnt was the lady on the 10$ note was not the QUEEN OF ENGLAND!! man I thought she was Queen Elizabeth but I guess not :(

I think next year what to improve is to make it harder.
Well, Thank you everyone!

BLOGGED OUT!
good bye :c

  1. Hello Ifalame,
Congratulations on completing the Summer Learning Journey! It has been such a hillarious journey for you. I really liked this post the most. Let me elaborate why. Firstly, I got to figure out which activity you enjoyed the most and which one you enjoyed the least. I think the best part of the blog post was at the end. You made me crack up. I think you have a talent for making people laugh. Are you going to participate next year? Happy holidays!

  2. Hi Ifalame

A massive congratulations on completing the SLJ (Summer Learning Journey). This is a incredible blog post. I agree on making the SLJ harder. But it depents on how old you are. If you are a year 6,you will have harder stuff than what the year 5 has. But it is a amazing blog post. Keep up your amazing work😊.

What an absolute star you are for getting through all of the activities before Summer's even finished, Ka pai! I cannot wait to make my way through the rest of your posts as we have a lot of catching up to do.

I am happy to see that your favourite activity and blog post was when you had to make your travel brochure and what an awesome post that was! Thank you also for sharing what you think we could change/ improve on next year.

Once again, congratulations and well done. You should be very proud of yourself. Remember that you can comment on other SLJ participants blog posts and show your support for them to finish the programme too!

  4. Hey Ifalame,

Woohoo! Congratulations on finishing the entire Summer Learning Journey programme. You have done such an incredible job, Ifalame. You must be so proud of yourself, I definitely am. You have put in so much effort over the summer to make it to the finish line.

I am so glad to hear that you thoroughly enjoyed the programme this year. The pleasure is all ours reading your humorous posts over the summer has really brought a smile to my face. I have also really enjoyed receiving your emails and getting to know you a bit more. I am also a little bit sad that we won't be seeing more of your posts coming through each day.

I cannot wait to make my way through the rest of your posts as we have a lot of catching up to do. There is one activity that I cannot seem to track down, W2, D1, BONUS. This activity is about the letter to Jacinda Arden. Do you remember doing this activity? Be sure to upload it and let me know so that I can officially make you a programme finisher.

I just wanted to congratulate you one last time, Ifalame. This is such an incredible achievement that you have made.

    You are a superstar!

  5. Kia Ora Ifalame,

Congratulations for making it to the end Ifalame! You've done such a wonderful job, making each post funny while including loads of effort through all 60 activities. You're a really big inspiration and I'm sure you're just as proud as we are all, hopefully even more!

You really have sped along! The last time I visited your blog, I was impressed with your reasoning and vocabulary. I thought it was a good time to re-visit your blog, and here are you, all done with the journey! I'm thoroughly excited to go ahead and read more of your amazing posts.

That's amazing that you thought the Summer Learning Journey was fun! I'm happy that you took it as a great experience and got surprised with lots of things. I find it incredible that you learnt a lot and kept up with school work, I hope it helps with school this year!

The Tongan Brochure was an activity that I am so impressed with! You included such amazing pictures and lots of cool places to visit. I'm not surprised that you enjoyed it the most!

I am also so shocked that Nelson Mandela served so long in prison, I personally feel like he was just trying to help! I've never heard of Julian Dennison, but I'm now super interested to find out more!

One more time, congratulations for putting in so much time and thought into your posts, I know everyone enjoys reading them! Have a happy and safe holidays :)
